In 2013, Jackson Guitars gave their affordable Jackson JS32T Kelly a few exciting new upgrades. For instance, this pointy metal guitar now features a set of powerful ceramic humbuckers which are ideal for some wild guitar playing. Also, the neck and the characteristic Jackson hockey stick-like headstock have been decorated with white bindings, like the ones you can find on the more expensive versions. Lastly, the chrome-plated hardware has been replaced by black-coloured hardware to give the guitar a mysterious look.

Jackson JS32T Kelly: high-quality construction

Despite its reasonable price, the JS32T Kelly offers you the highest quality that you've come to expect from a Jackson guitar. The body is made of basswood, which is a comfortably lightweight type of wood. It also provides you with a tight tone with rich mids, allowing you to perfectly cut through the mix, even when there is high-gain distortion. The neck, with 24 frets, has been reinforced with graphite for more strength and stability. Naturally, the amaranth fretboard is fitted with the typical Jackson shark fin inlays.
 

Compound radius-fretboard

The fretboard of the JS32T Kelly has a compound radius. This means that the fretboard is quite rounded near the lower positions, and flattens as you move towards the body. As a result, you'll be able to comfortably play low open chords and barre chords. You’ll also find that even with a super low action at the higher positions, you’ll still be able to easily bend the strings without suffering any buzzing or loss of notes.
